I. MỞ ĐẦU Tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ quan trọng giúp chúng ta tiếp cận với những thành tựu mới nhất của con người về khoa học kỹ thuật, văn hóa xã hội và hiểu biết lẫn nhau hơn. Việc học Tiếng Anh ngày nay đang hướng đến mục tiêu là giúp học sinh phát triển năng lực giao tiếp bằng Tiếng Anh, phát triển bốn kĩ năng Nghe, Nói, Đọc, Viết. Kĩ năng Nghe là một trong bốn kĩ năng quan trọng đối với những người học ngoại ngữ. Muốn giao tiếp được thành công thì người học phải vận dụng được rất nhiều kiến thức nền và kỹ năng khác để nghe và hiểu được những gì người khác diễn đạt một cách chính xác. Nghe tiếng Anh tốt sẽ khuyến khích học sinh say mê, tự tin trong học tập hơn và củng cố được các kĩ năng khác. Để đánh giá kĩ năng Nghe của học sinh, theo yêu cầu của Hội đồng bộ môn Tiếng Anh tỉnh Quảng Trị, kế hoạch thực hiện tiến độ và hình thức kiểm tra của bộ môn tiếng anh năm học 2020 – 2021 của Tổ Tiếng Anh trường THPT Trần Thị Tâm có một bài kiểm tra 15 phúthọc kì về kĩ năng Nghe. Tuy nhiên, ngữ liệu được sử dụng trong các bài kiểm tra Nghe chưa thực sự liên quan đến chủ để các bài học của chương trình Sách giáo khoa thí điểm. Vì vậy, tôi chọn đề tài “Xây dựng tài liệu luyện nghe bám sát chủ đề bài học chương trình sách giáo khoa thí điểm lớp 11” nhằm giúp các em học sinh khối 11 phát triển kĩ năng Nghe và các kiến thức liên quan theo đơn vị bài học.
