The Spanish-Speaking World Unit 1: Welcome to the Spanish-Speaking World This unit emphasizes the alphabet, greetings, numbers 0-59, dates, months, seasons, punctuation, and time. Spanish is the second world language of international communication. The first Spanish-speaking country was Spain.
