- T get sts to recognize the pronunciation of new words and give them listening practice
- To enable the sts to use the simple present tense
+Language Function :- To train the sts’ skills of listening and speaking +Educational Aim : - To make the sts aware of the shape of people around them

+ Vocabulary : knees, gymnast, weight lifter + Structures : S + be + adj
2 Skills : : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing
Educational factor : - Showing the sts how to keep fit and have a beautiful shape
II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1 Method : Communicative Approach
2 Techniques : Repetition, using picture, real objects, game, pair work 3 Materials needed : Textbook, pictures, cassette player

III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS : 1 Stabilization : 2ms
a) Warm up : Greetings
b) Checking absence: Who is absent today, monitor?
2 Checking up previous knowledge : 4ms
* Questions: - Asks sts to go to the board The first student points one by one part of the body and asks “What is that?/ What are those?;
* Keys to questions:

I/Lead - in :
- Ticks some pictures of people and asks the sts to remark about the shape of them
- Introduces the new lesson:” Today we will listen and read then answer What do/ does he / she do” II/ Pre- Practice:
1 Teaches new words:
- Writes the following words on the board and asks the sts to guess their meanings
- gymnast (n) : (translation) weight lifter (n) ( translation) Checks understanding of the new words: Rub out and remember.
III/ Controlled- Practice :
*A5: - Plays the cassette times,
- Calls some sts to read and corrects their mistakes of pronunciation
- Has them look at the pictures again and describe Chi and Tuan again
- Makes the questions:
“ Look at the picture Is this Chi tall or short ? thin or fat? etc.” What does she ?
Is this Tuan tall or short ? thin or fat?
What does he ?
- Plays the cassette times
- Calls some sts to get their results
- Has them reread the passage in silent
- Calls some sts to read it aloud
- Remark For example: Thin, old… - Listen
- Guess the meanings and write down
- Do as teacher required
- Listen and repeat - Repeat - Look at and describe - Listen and answer
