DATE: PERIOD : UNIT 10 . RECYLING Lesson 1: Getting Started _ Listen & Read I. AIMS : To give Ss information about the environmental problem. II. OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to do something to protect the environment and save natural resources. III. TEACHING AIDS : cassette player, posters, pictures IV. TEACHING PROCEDURE: CONTENTS Teacher’s a c t . Students’ act. Warm up Brainstorm: Ways to reduce the amounts of the garbage. - reuse plastic bags. - use cloth bags. - use tree leaves to wrap things. - make garbage into fertilizer. - make garbage matter into animal food. Pre teach vocabularies: - a representative : - to protect : to keep something/ somebody save from the others - natural resources : - to recycle : to use again. - to overpackage : What and where Introduction: ♠.Miss Blake is talking to the students of Quang Trung school how to protect the environment, and protect the natural resources. Listen to the tape/ recording twice (p.89) Practice the dialogue in pairs. Aims: -Helping Ss to further practice in the passive voice and in expressing their feelings, using the adjectives , recycle instructions. II. Objectives : -At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to form the Passive in Future simple tense and the structure with Adjectives III. Teaching Aids : posters. IV. TEACHING PROCEDURE CONTENTS Teacher’s act Students’ act. Warm up Question Games: - What is your job ? - Do you get a big salary? - Do you wear uniform? - Do you work about 8 hours? - Do you work with the children? Presentation: -How do people make glassware first? -Do they break the glass into small pieces?  The glass is broken into small pieces.
