PASSIVE VOICE (CÂU BỊ ĐỘNG) I Định nghĩa II Các dạng câu bị động Bị động Bị động động từ khuyết thiếu Bị động nguyên mẫu Dạng bị động đặc biệt PASSIVE VOICE( CÂU BỊ ĐỘNG) I Định nghĩa E.g Mary wrote a letter (Câu chủ động) A letter was written by Mary ( Câu bị động) * Câu bị động câu dùng để nhấn mạnh vào hành động, khơng quan trọng hay thực hành động * Cấu trúc chung: S + BE + P2 + (by O) PASSIVE VOICE II Các dạng bị động Bị động : S + BE + P2 + (by O) - Present simple (hiện đơn) : - Past simple (quá khứ đơn): - Present progressive ( tiếp diễn): - Past progressive ( khứ tiếp diễn) : - Present perfect ( hoàn thành) : S + am/is/are + P2 S + was/ were + P2 S + am/is/are + being + P2 S + was/were+ being + P2 S + have/has + been + P2 PASSIVE VOICE * Cách chuyển câu chủ động sang câu bị động E.g Mary waters flowers S V O → Flowers are watered by Mary S BE Câu chủ động : S by O P2 V O Câu bị động : S + BE + P2 (by O) Bước Xác định S (chủ ngữ), O (tân ngữ) động từ câu chủ động Bước Đưa O câu chủ động xuống làm S câu bị động Bước Động từ câu chủ động nào, chia BE theo thêm P2 động từ Bước Đưa S câu chủ động làm O để “by” lên trước.( Có thể bỏ đi) PASSIVE VOICE Chú ý: Nếu chủ ngữ câu chủ động : I, you, we, they, she, he, it bỏ khơng muốn đề cập tới chủ thể gây hành động • Nếu chủ ngữ people, someone, everyone, anyone, no one, … bỏ This house was built ( by them) Trạng ngữ nơi chốn đứng trước by O, thời gian đứng sau by O Trees are being planted in the garden by the students at the moment adv (place) adv (time) Động từ có tân ngữ: chuyển thành câu bị động với hai chủ ngữ khác My mother gave me a cake O1 O → I was given a cake by my mother → A cake was given to me by my mother Exercise Change the following sentences into passive voice Mary is cutting the cake in the kitchen The cake is being cut in the kitchen by Mary They grow rice in tropical countries Rice is grown in tropical countries Someone broke his windows last night His windows were broken last night People don’t speak French here French isn’t spoken here Did the teacher punish the boy yesterday ?
