Cơ sở: Môn Tiếng Anh được xây dựng trên cơ sở: + Mục tiêu bậc THCS do bộ giáo duc và đào tạo qui định. + Xác định vị trí môn học đối với sự phát triển của xã hội. + Theo tính hệ thống của bậc học 2. Mục tiêu: Học xong môn Tiếng anh HS cần đạt được những yêu cầu sau: - Nắm được kiến thức cơ bản, tối thiểu và tương đối hệ thống về Tiếng Anh thực hành hiện đại, phù hợp lứa tuổi. - Có kỉ năng kết hợp và sử dụng Tiếng anh như một công cụ giao tiếp dưới dạng Nghe - Nói - Đọc - Viết. - Có sự hiểu biết khái quát về văn hoá của các nước sử dụng Tiếng Anh. II. Giới thiệu sách: - Bộ môn Tiếng Anh 6 gồm 2 quyển sách: Sách Tiếng anh và sách bài tập Tiếng Anh. - Chương trình lớp 6: gồm 16 units Học kỳ I: 8 units Học Kỳ II: 8 units - Chương trình Tiếng anh 6 học theo chủ điểm. Mỗi unit nói về một chủ điểm. Các chủ điểm có sự liên hệ chặt chẽ lẫn nhau. III. Kiểm tra đánh giá Kiểm tra đánh giá học sinh dưới hai hình thức - Kiểm tra thường xuyên - Kiểm tra định kỳ Các bài kiểm tra bao gồm bốn kỉ năng IV. Một số yêu cầu về môn học - Hướng dẫn cách soạn bài, cách làm bài tập - Hướng dẫn hoạt động nhóm V.
