WEEK Date of teaching: 4A,B,C: 12/9/2018 UNIT 1: NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN Lesson 3: Part 1,2,3 I Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /l/ /n/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds - Express students’ concern about Ss’ relationships II Teaching aids Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedure: A Warm-up: Game:Slap the board ** Praise and share B New lesson: I Presentation: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary Practise pronouncing * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake II Practice: Activity 2: Listen and write T plays the recording and Ss listen to the task * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes Listen again to check the answer and give feedback III Production: Activity 3: Let’s chant Hello, friends! Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group (Call on some pairs to the role play if it’s necessary.)
