Class: 12A6,7,8,910 I AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :  Language content: - To introduce some new words relating to the topic - Vocabulary: shift, project, join hands, pressure,household chores, mischievous - Structure : the past simple and present simple, although, relative pronoun WHO  Language function: - Talking about their family. Educational aim : To make the students to be aware of their responsibilities in daily family life to contribute to building a happy one. 1. Skill : Integrated skills II. TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PREPARATION: 1. Method : Communicative Approach. 2. Techniques: Repetition, explanation, group work, asking – answering. 3. Materials needed : Textbook, pictures, real thing. 4 Students’ preparation : Reading the lesson at home. 5 Previous exercises: III. PROCEDURE IN CLASS. 1. Stabilization : (3ms) a. Lead – in - T asks Ss to play a game : Jumbled word. - T gets Ss to work in pairs to find out the meaningful word - YFMALI (FAMILY) 2. Task 1 – - T sets the scence - T gets Ss to read the passage silently and then do Task 1 Instruction : Choose the sentence A, B or C that is nearest in meaning to the sentence given - T asks Ss to read through the sentence given - T asks Ss to go back to the passage to locate and read around these words or phrases so that they can guess their meaning - T asks Ss to work individually to do the task. T goes around to help. - T asks Ss to exchange their answers with other Ss - T calls some Ss to explain their choices - T gives correct answers. They are very busy. They have to work long hours and sometimes they have to work at night. 2. She is a very caring woman. She is always the first one to get up in the morning to make sure that her children leave home for school with breakfast and in suitable clothes. She always makes dinner ready before her husband comes home. 3. The daughter helps with household chores : she washes the dishes and takes out the garbage. She also looks after her brothers. The father sometimes cooks or mends things around the house at weekends 4. She is attemping to win a place at university 5. Because they are very close- knit and supportive of one another.
