Class Description: 54 Ss from class 11A3, 27 boys and 27 girls 2. Time: 45 ms 3. Objectives At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:  Ask and answer about a hobby  Talk about collections 4. Anticipated Problems Ss might not have enough vocabulary to talk about the topic, so T should be ready to provide some. 5. Materials: textbook, handout, cards, pictures. 6. Procedure Stage Time Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Warm- up (Group work) 8’ Guessing game -Divides the class into 4 big groups. Then each group nominates one representative to come to the board. -Gives Ss some cards on which write some activities doing in free times. -Asks Ss to mime these words without saying any words. Which group has more answers will be the winner. The activities: fishing, playing video games, listening to music, collecting stamps, swimming, reading books, chatting on phone, walking. Lead in: Asks Ss to share some ideas about their hobbies. 1. What do you like doing in your free time? 2. How much time do you spent on it? Today we are going to talk more about hobbies. In the first place, I'd like to help you with some new words. -Work in groups. -Come to the board and mime the action. -Guess the words. -Answer T’s questions.
