WEEK 20 th PD: TD: Period 59 - Unit 9: AT HOME AND AWAY. A- A HOLIDAY IN NHA TRANG (A1). I. Objectives: After finishing this period, Ps will be able to know how to retell about the things which happened in the past ( vacations/ holidays/ activities… ) II. Language contents: 1/ Vocabulary: welcome back, vacation, wonderful, delicious, aquarium, gift = present, 2/ Grammar: simple past tense. III. Techniques: pair work, group work. IV. Teaching aids: cassette & tape, textbook, some pieces of colored chalk, pictures. VI. Procedures: Communicative Approach. 1/ Warm up: Teacher asks Ps: -Do you like going a trip? Where do you often do in your summer vacation? And what do you do at that time? - Do you know Nha Trang? And some interesting places there? Ps answer. Teacher introduces the lesson. Teacher’s and Pupils’ Activities 2/ While: - Teacher asks Ps to listen the dialogue 2 times then answer: “ Where did Liz’s family visit? Mrs. Robinson bought a poster. e/ After their visit to the aquarium, the Robinsons went to a food stall. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson ate fish and crab and Liz ate noodles.
