Học ngoại ngữ đã và đang trở thành một xu hướng của bất kì một người trẻ nào. Đơn giản vì nếu chỉ với tiếng mẹ đẻ, có thể bạn sẽ mất đi cơ hội làm việc trong những công ty đa quốc gia và giảm đi năng lực cạnh tranh trực tiếp với những ứng viên thông thạo thêm ngoại ngữ khác. Nếu như khoảng chục năm trước đây, học ngoại ngữ chỉ được thấy trong các lớp học chính khóa tại các trường trung học dưới sự hướng dẫn của giáo viên người Việt Nam, cách học tập trung quá nhiều vào ngữ pháp, máy móc và thụ động khiến cho học sinh xem việc học ngoại ngữ như một “cực hình”, học xong lại quên vì không được ứng dụng trong thực tế. Thì giờ đây, sự phát triển của công nghệ thông tin, sự đổi mới về phương pháp giảng dạy trong nhà trường cũng như việc ra đời hàng loạt các trung tâm đào tạo ngoại ngữ dưới sự hướng dẫn của các giáo viên bản xứ đã giúp cho việc tiếp cận với ngôn ngữ mới nhanh và hiệu quả hơn rất nhiều.
