The initial release of SharePoint Portal Server does not support Windows XP. Discuss the requirements for running the client components of SharePoint Portal Server. Next, explain the coexistence issues relating to software applications, Exchange 2000 Standard Edition, and the Microsoft Search Service (MSSearch), that students must consider before installing SharePoint Portal Server and the client components of SharePoint Portal Server.
