Activity book.[r] (1)Date of preparing:27/10/2018 Week: 8 Period:15 UNIT : D d Lesson ( part 4,5 ) I Aims. 1/Knowledge. - By the end of the lesson , students will be able to practise the sound of the letter Dd and the coresponding words Vocabulary: dog,drum,dragon Sight words: it,is, a, the, with, on 2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude. - Educate Ss to be friendly with friends - Students love animals with the letter d - S: Le Ngoc Linh know the letter D II.Teaching aids: T: teachers’ book,CD, phonics cards, paper including the lyrics of the chant Ss: Student’s book, colour Activity book. III Teaching method: MAT, TPA. IV/ Procedure 1 Organization Date of teaching Class Absent Students 29/10/2018 1A1 31/10/2018 1A2 2.Warm up ( 5’) -Ask ss to name the letter and say the sound of the letter - Put up the card on board T calls the letter and ask Ss to mine the action and say the sound 3 New lesson ( 30’ ) Teacher's and Ss activities Contents * Activity 1.(10’) -Ask ss to point to letter /d/ in the word dog and point to the picture of dog Do the same with drum and dragon. - Ss: listen and point -Ask ss to listen the story and point to the picture of key words when they hear them in the story 1 Listen Read along: (2)-Ss: listen and repeat. - Ss work in pairs ,one read and one check - Correct their mistakes - Ask ss point to the sight word.Ss listen and repeat and read aloud * Activity ( 8’) - Put up the dog ,dragon ,drum phonics card on board - Ss: look at the phonic cards - Ask ss to point the dog and say It is a dragon with drum-Do the same with the rest of the song - Ss: listen and repeat - Ss: work individually and pairs - Play the CD and ask Ss to listen and sing - Ask ss to take out the drum ,dragon picture cards and put them on the desk - Play the CD and ask Ss listen and hold up the corresponding card * S: Le Ngoc Linh listen and point letter D *Activity 3: Write the words (7’) - Ss write the words they’ve learnt in the lesson - Ss: work individually - Calls some Ss go to the board and write down - T monitors and correct their mistakes 4 Consolidation: (5’) - T asks whole class to sing the song at home Do the excersice 5/Comment the lesson 2.Song : 3 Pactise: (3) Week:8 Period: 16 UNIT : D d Lesson ( part 6,7 ) I.Aims. 1/Knowledge. - By the end of the lesson , students will be able to practise the sound of the letter Dd and the coresponding words Vocabulary: dog,drum ,dragon,doll 2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3 Attitude. - Educate Ss to be friendly with friends - Students love animals with the letter a - S:Le Ngoc Linh know the letter D II.Teaching aids: T: teachers’ book, , CD, phonics cards ,paper including the lyrics of the chant Ss: Student’s book, colour Activity book. Do the excersice 3,4 5/Comment the lesson words that start with D sound Say the D words. - phonics card - dog - drum - dragon
