Warm up (6’) * Greeting - Ask about health and number of Ss in class. E.g. + What’s your name? + How are you today? - Review some classrooms English sentences - Listen and repeat. - Read . - Answer the questions - repeat - What’s the meaning? - What’s the form? - Ask Ss to work in groups/ pairs/ individual 2. Review tenses in English 6 (12’) * Present simple tense: - To be : (+) S + am /is / are + n / Adj / adv (- ) S + am / is / are + not + ] ( ?) Am/ Is /Are + S + e.g. : My brother is a teacher (-) (?) - Answer teacher’s questions. - Retell and copy - Listen and copy. - Give the forms. (9’) - Rewrite the form of the structures of tenses they have learnt. - Ask Ss to rewrite on board. - Feedback. 5. Homework (3’) -Write about yourself: My name I live I’m in grade .in . school - Review and prepare unit one (A1,) - Copy the examples. - Listen and copy. - Listen and do the exercises on board. - Compare with their partners. - Individual works. - Listen and copy. 1. (7’) * Slap the board Question: - What's your name? - How are you today? - Good bye - Are you new student? - Which class are you in? - Ask Ss to practice. - Feedback. 2. Pre - Listening (11’) - T introduces the scene (We're going to hear 3 Ss talking. Before listening it, now predict: - What are their names? - Listen to the teacher and answer: They are Lan , Hoa and Nga - Go to the board and match in turn - Listen and goodbye Class 7A My name is Hoa - Ask Ss predict → T collects Ss' predictions on the board. - T hangs poster 1 on the board. Ask Ss to match. - Feedback. 3. While - listening (13’) - Ask Ss to listen to the tape and check their predictions - T checks with WC. - Ask Ss to answer the questions A1. Post listening (10’) * Role play. - Ask Ss to practice reading in roles of Ba, Nga, Hoa, Nam - Make a similar dialogue in groups of three. - Feedback and correct their works. 5. Home work . (2’) - Read A1 again and translate it - Do A1 P3 (W.b). check individually and then compare with the partner. - Work in groups - Groups work. - Some groups present their work in front of the class. - Listen and copy. (8’) * Greetings. - Have Ss play a game. - Give the letters given on extra – board. - Ask Ss to work in groups to find out the words they have learnt. - Give some minutes to work. - Feedback and correct. + Keywords: School, old, big, happy, uncle, new, friend, live, student, parent. - Demonstrate the group which wins the game. 2.
