Aims and objectives : * Laguage content : Introduce the Ss some new words and structures. * Language function: By the end of the lesson, The Ss will be able to introduce the things in the school, then ask and answer the thing and person. * Educational aim: To educate the Ss love for their school and for their classmate. 1. Language : a.Vocabulary school, classroom, student, teacher, class, desk, that. b.Structures: This is my school. That is my class. 2. Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing 3. Educational factor : Knowing to introduce the thing and person in class. II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1. Method : Communicative Approach 2. Techniques:Repetition, asking, answering. 3. Material needed:Pictures, cassette 4. Students’ preparation:look up the meaning of some new words 5. Previous exercises: Lesson 4, 5, 6. III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS : 1. Stabilization: 2 minutes a.Warm–up:make greetings b.Checking absence:monitor announces the students who are absent. 2. Checking up previous knowledges: 15 minutes Test 3. Lead in: -Shows the picture to introduce the topic of school. II. III. While - Practice -Plays the tape for the first time. - Asks the Ss to read these sentences. - Calls on some pairs to practice. - Asks the Ss to give the structure for how to introduce school and classroom. - Gives the structures to introduce person or thing. + This is…… + That is…… IV. Post - Practice -Hangs the picture C1 on the - Look at and listen to the teacher - Listen , guess the meaning of words and write down. - Read the new words. - Play the game. - Listen to the tape - Read these sentences. - Practice in pairs. - Give the structures: + This is my school + That is my class. - Listen to the UNIT: 2 AT SCHOOL Period : 10 LESSON: C MY SCHOOL (1) I. V. Consolidation - Asks the Ss to introduce their school, class, classroom and teacher. - Asks some questions (Yes – No questions). Is this….? teacher and take notes. - Look at, remember again the conversation and close the book to read sentences in the pictures - Practice by English. - Listen and take notes. - Introduce them. - Answer the questions.
