for customer, including charges on-demand services and other expenses (if any) during the process of goods handling Store documents with a file to facilitate data storage and solve arising problems as well as have information for comparison for subsequent shipments 2.3 Factors affecting the process of exporting dangerous goods by air at QV Trans 2.3.1 The external factors a Cultural, political - social environment - Culture Each country will have different customs and culture, celebrations, holidays, leading to not working Therefore, there will be certain effects if the export goods arrive on the long-term holiday, cannot be received or there are no employees working to pick up the goods, which will result in increase storage charges and time delays delivery time, discredit for QV Trans Therefore, before exporting any shipment, ETA must be checked to coincide with any holiday of the destination country, if any, advise customers before sending goods - Politics - society Changes in the political and social environment in the countries involved in forwarding activities will greatly affect the process of forwarding import and export goods A country in which an armed conflict occurs cannot take and delivery (if it is the sending country) or deliver and receive the goods to the consignee (if it is the receiving country) Political and social fluctuations will be the basis for building force majeure cases and the immunity to the forwarder as well as the carrier b Legal environment The scope of import and export forwarding involves many different countries So the legal environment here should be interpreted as the legal environment not only of the country of the goods being sent, but also of the country of the goods that are transit, the country of the goods arrival and the international law Any change in one of the above mentioned regulatory environments will have the effect of limiting or promoting import and export freight forwarding The laws of nations and international conventions not only define the concept and scope of activities, but more importantly, they clearly stipulate the obligations, responsibilities and powers of the participants into the field of forwarding For businesses, the implementation of the law is an essential element to operate, besides it is necessary to always monitor and update the newly issued circulars or decrees (or amendments) to capture and Reasonably apply to goods delivery activities at the company, avoid causing situations unexpected, prolong time, cause delays and may be punished Therefore, for each export or import shipment, QV Trans will double check the relevant laws to make the shipping process most effective In particular, when transporting dangerous goods by air is a fairly difficult form of transportation, it is required to strictly follow IATA regulations to ensure safety To be able to handle dangerous goods, employees must have a DG certificate issued by IATA c Weather environment The weather greatly affects time and delivery speed In particular, the process of transporting goods by air is also heavily influenced by weather factors, which can cause complete damage to the trip or delay the delivery of goods, resulting in economic consequences for related parties Due to the above effects, the weather will affect the quality of goods, and is one of the causes of the disputes It is also the basis for building a force majeure case and the immunity to the forwarder d Infrastructure, equipment, machinery Warehouse (TCS): Currently TCS warehouse has been equipped with a lot of modern machinery systems under the supervision and control by warehouse staff, good quality of equipment, working speed is accelerated But, with the large number of import and export goods currently, the warehouse always needs to improve the infrastructure to serve the needs of customers and minimize the time to goods e Collaboration among stakeholders When implementing any service, the interaction and good support between the parties will help accelerate the process While the exporter needs to provide sufficient information, documents and prepare goods fully delivered QV Trans quickly proceeds to carry out procedures, services, pack goods at the request of the exporter and send goods to the warehouse to make customs procedures promptly and quickly, avoiding the situation of dropping goods, doing Influence the company's reputation with customers, agents and airlines 2.3.2 The internal factors a Human resources - people Import and export activities of special goods must emphasize the human factor because it is the creative subject and direct executive the influential activities of this factor expressed through the two most important indicators That is the spirit of work and work capacity Working spirit is manifested by the atmosphere in the enterprise, solidarity and the will to strive for common goals The competency of the employees is manifested through the management skills, specific operations and the results of the activities In order to enhance the role of the human factor, businesses must focus on training, fostering and improving the professional skills of employees, as well as paying due attention to personal benefits, including material benefits and spiritual benefits Businesses need to have experienced employees, have deep expertise in the field of import and export - freight forwarding, knowledgeable about the laws to be able to coordinate effectively in each process, handled well of difficult situations Although the staff level at QV Trans is uneven, there are still quite a lot of people who are not highly specialized in the field, but most of the staff are young, enthusiastic and inquisitive, will contribute to increase the effectiveness in each activity b Capital With incomplete equipment and machinery infrastructure will cause difficulties and obstacles for the delivery and receipt of goods However, to be able to build infrastructure and own modern equipment, the forwarder needs a huge amount of investment Not to mention the personnel costs, operating costs, causing significant pressure effects on small and medium enterprises (such as QV Trans) In addition to the need for abundant capital, businesses need to learn how to manage capital, make thoughtful calculations, use capital properly and effectively Once capital stability, businesses will be able to continuously expand and develop more sustainably in the future c Infrastructure of company At QV Trans: there is a relatively stable infrastructure, including offices, warehouses, means of transport, storage of goods, etc However, QV Trans does not really have a system of facilities, adequate machines and amenities for the job In order to participate in the efficient delivery and export of goods, the forwarder needs an infrastructure with modern equipment and machinery to serve the consolidation, preparation and inspection of goods d Leader, executive One factor that has a significant influence on the processes and operations of the business is the management and administration of the leader (director) Whether the delivery and receipt process takes place within the shortest period of time to bring goods to the customers' places required, depending on the ability to direct and divide the work appropriately for each department of leader In addition, to improve the ability to work collectively, leaders constantly encourage and support employees to help limit errors that may occur 2.4 SWOT Analysis The SWOT analysis model is a useful tool used to understand Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats in a business organization Likewise, through SWOT analysis, QV Trans will clearly see their goals as well as factors inside and outside the organization that can positively or negatively affect the goals set by the business, its as the most basic, highly effective tool to help company have an overview the factors that always influence and determine to the success of business 2.4.1 S - Strengths - The company has built a stable number of customers, maintaining trust and reputation - Have logistics professional training, so the future human resources will become abundant from the source of graduates every year, high quality and specialized knowledge - Thanks to the fact that Vietnam has pushed open the door and integrating into the world economy, actively participating in the network of free trade agreements, it has helped to achieve many important achievements in goods import and export, creating favorable conditions for expansion business - The State has policies to encourage export, which is a driving force for manufacturing enterprises to export goods abroad in large numbers, so the number of potential customers will be very large - The reduction of unnecessary government procedures for import and export goods will create conditions to shorten the process 2.4.4 T - Threats - The number of forwarding companies is increasing day by day, leading to fierce competition within the industry - In addition to advantages, joining the international economic community (ASIAN, TPP, ) requires high quality human resources and good foreign language skills - The market share of foreign companies in the industry accounts for more than 80%, requiring domestic companies to create a competitive advantage - It is required to have an overseas agent system to improve quality, provide more types of services to customers, as well as to earn imported goods through agents activities During the period of domestic and global economy, there were many fluctuations, especially in the field of import and export, freight forwarding When the agreements that Vietnam has signed officially take effect, the competition between domestic enterprises with foreign enterprises will be more and more difficult Therefore, the state needs to create more conditions to support businesses to grow At the same time, the State should have a policy of ensuring and adjusting the exchange rate at an adequate level to encourage businesses to import and export to Vietnam, creating a large volume of goods Meanwhile, businesses in the field of forwarding will have many opportunities to sign contracts with customers The State needs rectificatione the State management over trade, bring the nation trade's catch up with the development of world trade In addition, it is necessary to have preferential policies low interest loans so that enterprises in the field of import and export, freight forwarding have the opportunity to access capital, expand production and business facilities, create the amount of import and export goods is increasing The State needs to regularly forecast gasoline prices, stabilize petrol prices in line with world petrol prices The State should have investment policies for factory to processing oil products with low cost, to avoid dependence on imported petroleum products Since then, be more active in the source of raw materials for the transport industry, creating conditions to cut costs for businesses The State should strengthen the application of information technology, modernization, reducing administrative paperwork in all sectors to suit the development of the country 3.2.2 Complete the policy of upgrading infrastructure to meet the needs of transport and forwarding business The government also needs to invest more in transport system, infrastructure, upgrade highways, build more bridges to avoid traffic congestion, and consider, evaluate railway construction North - South serve the transport of domestic goods, transportation from provinces to each other In the future, it is possible to combine railway lines link seaports and airports, to facilitate the delivery and receipt of goods, reduce congestion at gateways of airports and seaports This will shorten the time of transporting goods, reduce costs and improve profits for businesses Establish anti-corruption policies at state agencies and improve customs networks The State needs to be stricter and impose tougher sanctions against public officials who commit negative corruption acts, affecting the reputation and loss of the Party and State's budget, causing trouble for businesses There is a need for comprehensive review surveys from central to subordinate levels to investigate and address corruption In addition, the state agencies need to have training on ethical for their staff to raise the awareness of officials From there, build a contingent of cadres and civil servants rich in service spirit, knowing how to put the interests of enterprises and the people ahead of their own interests In particular, the State needs to invest more strongly in developing the Customs network, avoiding the situation where there are times when the Customs network is stuck for a long time, affecting the Customs declaration activities of enterprises, causing It takes time, effort, cost of the enterprise Besides, it is possible to promote the development of modern technology systems at the Customs office so that the import and export processes are carried out faster, saving both time and cost CONCLUSION Import and export is increasingly having an important influence on the Vietnamese economy, manufacturing companies are unable to handle all shipments by themselves, and as a result, the birth and accession of more and more companies in the field of forwarding, leads to fierce competition between companies, affecting the price policy and service quality Therefore, it requires Quoc Viet company in particular and all companies in the same field in general to understand the steps in the process and implement it more effectively to minimize costs, increase quality and the company's competitiveness further Despite being a young company, QV Trans has been continuously diversifying, improving and changing types of services since its establishment and operation so far to provide customers with good service quality and high work results The collective from leaders to employees of the company is constantly improving their professional knowledge and skills, so that they can not only compete in the market but also try to keep pace with the world speed It can be seen that QV Trans not only captures the situation of the world market but also takes advantage of its advantages to develop, expand other fields and services, providing richer for many groups of customers goods, many different needs One of them is the exploitation and transportation of dangerous goods - this is a specific type of cargo, difficult to transport, requires knowledge and high professional skills as well as a DGR certificate to be able to perform Therefore, through the report “Exporting process of dangerous goods by air at Quoc Viet Transportation & Trading Co., LTD”, I would like to first introduce an overview of the company's situation, then analyze the export process of dangerous goods by air (specifically consignment Adhesives, UN1133), From this, draws on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges (through the SWOT model) of dangerous goods export operation in particular and activities at QV Trans in general During my internship at QV Trans has created many opportunities for me to get used to the dynamic collective work environment in the business, and at the same time, can offer some solutions and recommendations for enterprise as well as the state under the subjective view These recommendations are for reference only, because myself not have much experience, there are still limitations of knowledge, so the ideas can not cover the actual work and may not be appropriate with the company's strategy Therefore, I am very happy to be able to receive valuable get comments and additional contributions from teachers and enterprises! Finally, once again, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Master Le Duc Nha and company collective Quoc Viet Transportation and Trading Co., Ltd for their help, guidance and create opportunity for me to complete this internship course and report REFERENCES APPENDICES
