Lý chọn đề tài Bệnh sán gan lớn (fascioliasis) hai lồi Fasciola hepatica Fasciola gigantica thuộc họ Fasciolidaekí sinh động vật nhai lại (trâu, bò, dê, cừu…) dần thích ứng gây bệnh người Trước đây, đặc tính hình thái học (morphology), sinh thái học (ecology) huyết học (serology) thường sử dụng chẩn đoán đáp ứng phần lớn yêu cầu phân loại sinh vật có ngành ký sinh trùng [5],[18] Tuy nhiên phân loại sán gan dựa vào hình thái khó phân định Đặc biệt có tượng lai dạng trung gian (hybrid form) quần thể sán gan phát hiện, hệ gen có trộn lẫn F hepatica F gigantica (Fh/Fg), hệ gen nhân tế bào mang gen từ dòng bố (F hepatica) hệ gen ty thể (F gigantica) mang tính di truyền theo dòng mẹ [7] Bệnh sán gan lớn coi bệnh ký sinh trùng bị lãng quên (neglected emerging infectious disease) tổ chức y tế giới (WHO) quan tâm Sán gan lớn gây bệnh người, ảnh hưởng đến sức khỏe cộng đồng, chúng gây tổn thương bệnh lý hệ thống gan mật, gây can xi hóa đường mật, ký sinh lạc chỗ di chuyển lạc lên não… gây tổn thương nặng nhu mô gan làm suy gan dẫn đến tử vong [4], [7], [17] Một số trường hợpdo bệnh sán gan lớn người gây phản ứng viêm, xơ hóa gan, dẫn đến chẩn đốn bị nhầm bệnh ung thư gan [2], [5] Đối với động vật ăn cỏ (trâu, bò, dê, cừu…) nhiễm sán gan lớn làm giảm trọng lượng vật, ốm yếu, thiếu máu bệnh lý, vật không sinh sản, gây thiệt hại lớn kinh tế [11] Vì việc phát sớm xác định xác lồi
