performance requirements are established in New Zealand Building Regulations and are generally equivalent to those in this Standard This Standard sets out objectives in Clause Reference to AS/NZS 3500.4.2, National Plumbing and Drainage, Part 4.2: Hot water supply systems— Acceptable solutions sets out a means of achieving minimum deemed-tosatisfy requirements for the objectives and performance requirements of this Standard Licensed to LUU MINH LUAN on 26 Feb 2002 Single user licence only Storage, distribution or use on network prohibited It is recognized that the content of this Part would usually be the responsibility of a regulatory body Nevertheless, owing to the reforms taking place in the industry at present, no national body has yet been identified to take up such responsibilities Therefore, for the purpose of this edition the document is published as part of the AS 3500 series If in the future a national regulatory administration is identified, the Standard will be modified accordingly The performance requirements of this Standard have been published without a ‘durability’ clause This course of action was found necessary owing to a division existing within the committee members responsible for the document It is possible that in the future such durability requirements could become part of this document by means of an amendment or a full revision
