thoroughly understand the general knowledge of Economics and manipulate this knowledge to explain changes of socio-economic phenomena (b) analyze and recommend policies to enhance effective use of resources in agricultural business Analyze and make appropriate decisions in order to improve effectiveness of production activities of enterprises (c) analyze, treat and make decisions regarding production business activities of enterprises as marketing decisions, financial decisions (d) acquire general knowledge of social sciences such as Marxist-Leninist philosophy, Ho Chi Minh ideology and skills, having finished the advanced training program, students are expected to gain the following basic skills: (a) Collecting and treating data, writing reports related to the fields of agricultural economics and finance; effectively applying necessary skills such as market analysis, policy analysis, economic efficiency evaluation and comparison to improve efficiency of production resources in specific conditions; competency in common computer softwares and specialized softwares; (b) English proficiency shown in the scientific research and business communication; successful in person Tài có số lượng khoảng 50 sinh viên/lớp Applicants of the Advanced Program are those reaching the floor grade of A or D block in the annual university entrance examination; and first year students in Economics having the aspiration to pursue the Advanced Program The recruitment of students into the training program is based on current papers and regulations on undergraduate student recruitment promulgated by Ministry of education and Training as well as the College Student selection is based on the following conditions: (i) gain the floor grade of A or D block in national university entrance examination, (ii) submit a registration form expressing aspiration to pursue the Advanced program,(iii) satisfy English proficiency requirements of the program The number of students undertaking Undergraduate advanced program in Agricultural economics –Finance is estimated around 50 students/class QUY TRÌNH ĐÀO TẠO, ĐIỀU KIỆN TỐT NGHIỆP- EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AND GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 5.1 Quy trình đào tạo CTTT đào tạo theo học chế tín 5.1 Educational process The advanced program is designed on the basis of credit system 5.2 Về tổ chức lớp học Sau sinh viên đăng ký môn học, nhận tài liệu liên quan (mô tả môn học, yêu cầu môn học, cách thức đánh giá, đọc, tài liệu tham khảo) qua hệ thống internet Đối với khóa học đầu tiên, mơn học chuyên ngành giáo viên Úc đảm nhận nên phải học tập trung (1 tuần/mơn), sau trợ giảng giáo viên Việt Nam có trách nhiệm hướng dẫn, giải đáp thắc mắc Sinh viên trao đổi chuyên môn với giáo viên Úc qua email Kể từ khóa thứ trở đi, giáo viên Việt Nam dạy theo quy trình ĐH Sydney 5.2 Class organization After enrolling in the courses, students will receive related documents (course descriptions, course requirements, assessment methods, readings, reference materials) via internet system For the first academic course, the specialized units are given by Australian professors, so students have to study concentratively at the duration of one week/unit of study, after that, Vietnamese tutors will be responsible for giving further instructions and handling students’ inquiries Students can discuss with Australian professors via email From the second academic course onwards, Vietnamese teachers will undertake teaching as per the process of the University of Sydney 5.3 Điều kiện tốt nghiệp: Sinh viên phải tích luỹ tối thiểu 192 tín (khơng kể môn khoa học Mác-Lênin, tiếng Anh tăng cường giáo dục quốc phịng), phần bắt buộc 90 tín (47%) 102 tín tự chọn (53%) Khi hội đủ điều kiện tốt nghiệp sinh viên cấp Cử nhân song ngành Kinh tế Nơng nghiệp –Tài bảng điểm thể đầy đủ kết học tập sinh viên 5.3 Graduation requirements Students have to accumulate at least 192 credit points (not including Marxism-Leninism, English enhancement, and National Defense Training), in which 90 credit points are of compulsory units (47%) and 102 are of elective units (53%) After meeting all the requirements, students will be granted the degree of 11.1 Cơ sở vật chất, tài liệu học tập – Facilities and learning resources Trường Đại học Kinh tế Huế có hệ thống sở vật chất đảm bảo cho trình đào tạo nghiên cứu cán sinh viên Hệ thống sở vật chất phục vụ đào tạo chia thành nhóm sau: a) Phịng học lý thuyết Hệ thống giảng đường thiết kế đại, với hệ thống phương tiện, thiết bị phục vụ giảng dạy đồng bộ, đảm bảo tốt việc học tập sinh viên b) Hệ thống máy tính nối mạng trang bị phần mền quản lý đại, phục vụ đắc lực cho công tác đào tạo quản lý Trường Ngoài ra, Trường cịn có nhiều phịng máy tính thực hành, có phịng “mơ kinh tế” đầu tư Ngân hàng Thế giới (WB) thông qua dự án Giáo dục đại học mà ngành Kinh tế Nông nghiệp bảy ngành trọng điểm Đại học Huế thụ hưởng dự án Phịng mơ Kinh tế trang bị phương tiện đại, đồng phục vụ tốt cho việc nghiên cứu giảng dạy cán sinh viên Khoa Kinh tế Phát triển c) Hệ thống thư viện phòng đọc: thư viện Trường có 5.000 đầu sách chuyên ngành, hệ thống giáo trình, giảng, tài liệu tham khảo trang bị đồng Thư viên nâng cấp, đại hố để phục vụ tốt cho nhu cầu học tập nghiên cứu cán sinh viên Ngoài ra, cán sinh viên phép sử dụng nguồn tài liệu học tập nghiên cứu Trung tâm học liệu Đại học Huế - thư viện điện tử đại đầu tư Đại học RMIT Australia với 500 máy tính nối mạng ADSL, 350 chỗ ngồi, 60.000 đầu sách chuyên khảo sở liệu điện tử Đặc biệt, chấp thuận Đại học Sydney, cán sinh viên tham gia chương trình đào tạo tiên tiến truy cập sử dụng nguồn tài liệu phong phú từ thư viện Đại học Sydney d) Khu vực ký túc xá sinh viên, Đại học Huế đầu tư xây dựng với qui mô đại; đảm bảo vệ sinh, an tồn, cảnh quan mơi trường sinh thái; nằm vị trí thuận tiện, đảm bảo điều kiện để sinh viên, giáo viên vui chơi giải 73 trí Hơn nữa, nơi cịn có nhiều sinh viên nước ngồi lưu trú góp phần tạo nên mơi trường mang tính quốc tế 11.1 Facilities and learning resources Hue College of Economics has sufficient facilities to ensure teaching and research activities The facilities system serving training and research purposes can be basically divided into groups as follows: a) Studying rooms Lecture theatres are modernly designed with sufficient teaching and learning facilities to ensure students’ learning betterment b) Computer systems have access to the internet and are equipped with modern softwares, efficiently serving training and management purposes of the College In addition, the College has quite a few computer rooms, including an “economic simulation” room invested by World Bank through Higher Education Project, which Agricultural Economics major is one of the seven key majors of Hue University benefited from This room is equipped with modern facilities, very useful for teachers and students in Faculty of Economics and Development Studies in academic activities c) Library system and reading rooms The College’s library has more than 5000 book titles, textbooks, lectures, reference documents The library is being upgraded and modernized in order to better serve the learning and research demand of HCE’s staffs and students In addition, staffs and students are able to access the Learning Resource Center of Hue University, a modern electronic library invested by RMIT University, Australia with more than 500 ADSLconnected computers, 350 seats, over 60,000 book titles and electronic databases Especially, with the agreement of the University of Sydney, the staffs and students participating in the Advanced Program can have access to and use the abundant database of the library system of the University of Sydney d) The student hostel, invested by Hue University, is rather modern, satisfies sanitation standard and safety requirement It locates in a nice and favourable position for students and teachers’ entertainment Moreover, presence of international students here makes it diversified as in an international environment 11.2 Địa bàn thực tập nghiên cứu - Internship and research places Trường Đại học Kinh tế Huế có mối quan hệ mật thiết với tổ chức, quan, doanh nghiệp, sở kinh doanh nước mà đặc biệt miền Trung Tây nguyên Các tổ chức, quan doanh nghiệp nơi thực tập cho sinh viên, nơi ứng dụng kết nghiên cứu, nơi phản hồi yêu cầu chất lượng đào tạo nhà trường, đồng thời nơi tiếp nhận nguồn nhân lực đào tạo từ nhà trường Nhiều sinh viên trường trở thành nhà lãnh đạo, nhà quản lý có uy tín địa phương trung ương nhờ mà mối quan hệ trường với sở ngày vững 74 mạnh, giúp cho truờng có sở vững việc đào tạo theo yêu cầu xã hội 11.2 Internship and research places Hue College of Economics has close relationship with many organizations, offices, businesses, enterprises, etc all over the country, especially in Central region and Tay Nguyen These agencies are served as practical places for students to their internship They are the places where research results will be applied, training quality of the college will be verified and graduates will be recruited Many graduates from HCE have become pretigious leaders, managers in their localities
