- 1 - THE SEASON YOU LIKE BEST There are four seasons in a year, such as Spring,Summer,Autumn and Winter in North of Vietnam. In Spring ,it’s very warm. In Summer, it’s hot. In Autumn, it’s cool. In winter, it’s cold .But there are two seasons in the south of vietnam, they are the rainy season and the dry season.In the dry season it doesn’t rain.The sun shines everyday.It’s often very hot in this season. In the rainy season it rains a lots, the sky is dark, the roads muddy and slipery but my favourite season is Spring because it’s warm and Spring is the most beautiful season in a year .In Spring,trees are green and flowers are growing everywhere. Spring is the time for family reunion,and tet holiday falls on spring. In tet holiday, I usually go to the countryside to visit my family and wear new clothes. What are actiivities in this season ? - 2 - YOUR TYPICAL DAY,YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES,YOUR DAILY ROUTINES/YOUR ROUTINE DAY Every moring, I get up at 6 o’clock. I do morning exercice for 10 minute after I have a bath and have breafast .I get dressed and go to school ( work) . It about 2 kilometres from my house to my school (work) . It takes me 15 minutes to get to school ( work) by bike ( motor-bike) . My school (work) starts at 7.00 a.m and finishes at 11.00 a.m. After school I have lunch at 11.30 a.m in a canteen (at home) and then I take a rest about 30 minutes . In the afternoon, I’m often very busy because I have to do my homework, clean the house, iron the clothes ( At 1.00p.m I work again and finish at 5.00 p.m .I come back home ). After that I have dinner at 5.30 p.m . In the evening,I sometimes go out with my friends but I usually stay at home and watch T.V ,I go to bed at 10.30 p.m. After day,I feel tired but it’s very happy and more comfortable. My English is now not very good , I am studying at foreign centre now.I have studied English for 2 years . I’m studying Streamline book .There are four skills ,such as : listening, speaking, reading and writing. Listening is the most difficult because I’m not enough words .I study English because it’s necessary to get for a good job . What do you do to prove your love to your town? - 6 - YOUR HOLIDAY There are many interesting places to visit in my counntry such as : DaLat,Nha Trang,Vung Tau,Ha Tien,Hue Summer is the best time for holiday in my country because we don’t go to school in summer .I often go on holiday every summer. My last summer holiday I went to Da Lat with my classmates (friends).I go there by coach,it took me six hours . I stayed in a big hotel near Dalat market. I visited many interesting places such as Mong Mo hill, love valley , Than Tho lake Truc Lam pagoda, I saw with my eyes lots of beautiful places and lost of big and strange animals.I bought lots of souvernirs for my family and my friends.I met many foreigners tourists from many different countries. I took many photos and I used two rolls of film. the weather was hard cold but I felt very comfortable and relax . The people there were very nice,friendly and honest. I have stayed for five days. What do you think about your life? - 8 - NATIVE TOWN/NATIVE VILLAGE /NATIVECOUNTRY/HOMELAND I was born and grew up in Toung Loc village,Tam Binh district,Vinh Long province so it is my home land.Many years ago,my village was very poor.My village had to work hard in the field all day and could have just enough money to pay for the things that they need.Our lives were simple and we were in need of many things. Many people had to live in thatched houses ( houses made of straw and mud) and few families had a radio or a TV set. Now, the lifestyle of my village is changing, people live in brick houses .In the evening, they can listen to the news on the radio or watch TV for entertainment, sometimes they go to town on their motorbikes to do some shopping or to visit theirs friends .The villagers grow cash crops and speciality fruit trees such as orange trees, grape fruit trees, Mangosteens trees, Durians trees……… Our lives have changed a lot thanks to the economic reforms of vietnamese grovernment.
