Developing green economy to achieve green growth has become an inevitable trend of the modern world economy Green growth reflects how economies respond to climate change and natural resource depletion; reflects trends in finding new growth models with green industry emerging as a spearhead, creating new and highly competitive growth drivers; At the same time, it demonstrates the efforts of governments in restructuring the economy towards green and sustainable growth The concept of a green economy has emerged as a pivotal approach to address the pressing challenges of environmental degradation, resource depletion, and socioeconomic inequality This abstract encapsulates a comprehensive research endeavor aimed at elucidating the multifaceted dimensions of green economy

implementation and its implications for sustainable development This research contributes to

the evolving discourse on green economy implementation and provides actionable recommendations for policymakers, businesses, and civil society stakeholders It underscores the imperative of integrated approaches that harmonize environmental preservation with socio-economic development objectives, fostering resilience and prosperity for present and future generations.

Keywords: Green economy, green manufacturing, research, company, sustainable.I INTRODUCTION.

1.1 Reasons for choosing the topic

In the context of increasingly fierce global economic competition, green development

have become a major trend of global economic and social transformation Above all, “ Greenproduction - unique path to green export.” The term “green” is now widely used, although

its origins lie more in the popular press than the scientific community Increasingly, the term

Trang 8

is used interchangeably on the more established “sustainability” concept, and so this means taking a holistic view of environmental, social and economic impact (Dobers & Wolff, 2000; Kleindorfer, Singhal, & van Wassenhove, 2005; Rahimifard & Clegg, 2007; Saha & Darnton, 2005; Seliger, Kim, Kernbaum & Zettl, 2008) Elkington (1997, p 22) presents the challenge to achieve sustainability as “an unprecedented source of commercial opportunity for competitive companies, through technological innovation and improved eco-efficiency” In addition, Green manufacturing is also known as Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing (ECM) or Manufacturing for the Environment (ME) It is a modern manufacturing mode taking comprehensive account of environmental impact and resource consumption However, Green manufacturing is a new manufacturing mode and in the continuous development, so far there is no clear definition for green manufacturing system and lack of comprehensive, multiple points of view in-depth research Thus, how to fully describe the structure and composition of the green manufacturing system from the perspective of system, based on the definition and connotation of the green manufacturing system, is of great significance to the study of the green manufacturing system. That is the reason why we chose the research on green production in enterprises.

1.2 Objectives of the study

Research on green production in enterprises is the popular topic that aims to making minimum negative impacts on the environment and attaining higher resource utilization in whole life cycle of the production design, manufacture, packaging, transportation and reuse The implement and optimization for the green manufacturing help the enterprise earns more economic benefits and social benefits It also helps businesses optimize raw materials Green production also helps reducing greenhouse emissions, aiming for carbon neutrality and sustainable development Above all, raising awareness in implementing the Net Zero campaign is the most important aim Besides, Businesses are given opportunities to expand domestic and foreign markets

II METHODOLOGY2.1 Dataset Description

In this study, analytical data is taken from 5 data articles retrieved from the Data Mendeley site, 5 data articles include many research articles that have been synthesized The keywords used for the query to get access to the data like green economy, green manufacturing, research, company, sustainable,…

2.2 Text mining method

Trang 9

According to Wu et al (2006), text mining is a technique that helps users find useful information from a large number of digital text documents on the Web or a database But Leopold et al defined that text mining provides many approaches to extracting information and knowledge from text data such as classification, segmentation, clustering, semantic space, etc.

Much of the data generated is unstructured, which makes it difficult and expensive for organizations to analyze with human help This challenge combined with the exponential growth of data has led to the development of analytics tools Text mining allows users to extract useful information from a huge data set From there, synthesize the frequency of keywords to create a matrix of co-occurring and related topic clusters, thereby analyzing the connection between them Basic steps include:

Collecting data from mass information sources such as websites, newspapers, Converting text from unstructured form to structured form.

Then, removing the necessary information: Eliminating unnecessary information Analyzing the text based on the probability of keywords appearing, the system will remove some redundant words such as: is, are, the, etc and retain valuable information.

Next, evaluate knowledge after processing and present the results obtained.

Finally, storing important information in the database, promoting analysis of current trends, thereby bringing valuable information to businesses and giving enterprises correct assessment and solution.

III LITERATURE REVIEW.

3.1 Concept and importance of green production

According to some reference materials such as the book Green Manufacturing: Fundamentals and Applications by David A Domfeld edited from Kim, Y S., Kim, Y B., & Park, S S The document shows the basic foundation and applications of manufacturing green, including technical, environmental and business aspects.

Green production is a production process in which from input materials to output products are environmentally friendly and do not cause harm to human health Faced with the impacts of climate change, in a context of heavy environmental pollution, resources are gradually depleted The main goal is to optimize resource efficiency and minimize negative environmental and social impacts This promotes sustainable development and improves the quality of life for both humanity and the planet.

Trang 10

When tested as a green product, the product is considered an environmentally friendly product and receives higher trust from users These products must be tested when brought to the market and delivered to consumers Inspect and evaluate compliance with food safety standards according to the provisions of law.

The world is increasingly developing and the planet's resources are gradually depleted and contaminated because of the strong destruction of humans Therefore, many countries are increasingly focusing on green production processes and introducing the best measures to protect the environment, bringing benefits to businesses and society Green production is really important for people, society and businesses with the following factors:

● Green manufacturing helps minimize negative impacts on the environment, including reducing waste, air and water pollution, and deforestation In this way, it helps protect biodiversity and maintain important ecosystems.

● By using resources efficiently and reusing materials, green manufacturing helps reduce waste and save precious resources such as water, energy, and land.

● Green manufacturing often comes with optimizing production processes, minimizing waste and operating costs, thereby enhancing business performance and improving profits.

● Developing highly sustainable products and services can open up new business opportunities and attract customers interested in sustainable products and brands.

3.2 Methods applied to green production are often used by businesses.

To meet the need for environmental protection, more and more businesses have begun to apply "green" and "environmentally friendly" methods in their production and business operations This not only helps minimize negative impacts on the environment but also brings many economic and social benefits Among them, a number of green production methods are applied in production and business operations such as:

● Prioritize environmentally friendly products/services in production: Look for products that are produced using sustainable processes, use less natural resources and energy, and can be recycled or reused .

● Limit the use of nylon/plastic packaging and switch to paper packaging.

● Choose to cooperate with partners who prioritize environmental protection and have awareness in green product production

● In use, the system automatically adjusts energy consumption and improves energy management By using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydropower

Trang 11

and bioenergy to provide electricity for production activities Typical technologies include solar panel systems, wind turbines,

● Promote the use of recycled and reused materials in the production process to reduce the amount of new resources used.

● Use water reuse systems, manage underground rivers and water resources, and minimize indiscriminate water consumption during production.

● Switch to using LED lights instead of compact or halogen lights because LEDs consume less energy, have a long lifespan, emit little heat and do not contain many toxic substances such as mercury or sulfur.

IV BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES OF INTEGRATING GREEN PRODUCTION INBUSINESS

4.1 Benefits of green production

*Protect the environment and save costs for businesses

Using alternative energy sources: In the green production process, businesses can

replace current energy sources with other forms of energy We recommend using renewable energy, because this energy source is cheap, natural, abundant, renewable, and produces low emissions Some popular renewable energy sources today include solar energy, wind, geothermal energy, hydrogen, etc (United Nation, n.d) Thus, using renewable energy not only helps businesses save a large amount of money, but also helps reduce the impact on the environment and climate.

Recycling: Carefully check scraps and waste before discharging into the environment

to avoid wasting reusable materials In addition, recycling them also helps save a large amount of money for businesses, contributes to environmental protection, reduces waste and saves energy.

*Public Relations:

The problem of environmental pollution is of concern to the whole world Customers are gradually turning to using clean energy sources and green products Therefore, businesses that choose to develop towards green production will meet customer needs, thereby attracting them and gaining advantages over competitors.

4.2 Challenges and limitations of integrating green production in businesses

Initial costs: To switch to green production process, businesses must accept to

change the entire current management process and reinvest from the beginning This costs a

Trang 12

lot of money for businesses, especially businesses in the electronics, home appliance industry, etc.

Slow payback: Because the initial cost for green production is very large, the payback

takes longer

Lack of quality human resources: To serve the green production process of

businesses, it is necessary to find a workforce that meets sufficient expertise and techniques However, green production is a relatively new concept, so finding suitable human resources can be considered one of the challenges of green production.

Challenges from the supply chain: When businesses choose to convert green

production, but their suppliers have not This will affect the quality of the business's products If a third party confirms that the business's products do not meet the requirements and the "green" quality certificate, they can cancel the order.

Lack of supportive policies: Policies aimed at green production in Vietnam are

currently only at the proposal and approach level Therefore, there are still not many incentives for loans to green production enterprises According to a survey by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, up to 89% of businesses do not receive state support for green production processes.

4.3 Projects and practical applications.

In VietNam, The US-Vietnam Getting to Net-Zero Workshop: Industrial Manufacturing Decarbonisation took place in the southern province of Binh Duong on January 18 (VNA, 2024) The event was co-organized by the Provincial's Committee, the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and Becamex IDC, with more than 200 domestic and foreign businesses participating US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City said Vietnam has emerged as a key industrial production center in the region The strong growth of the logistics sector comes with environmental challenges, forcing companies to convert to green production models and renewable energy to suit the world situation Additionally, U.S companies are interested in cutting-edge technologies, especially solutions like rooftop solar, as part of their commitment to reduce emissions and promote the shared goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2025 at the event Additionally, March 26, 2024, QTSC Company and HCM City Digital Transformation Consulting & Support Center (DXCenter) organized a Workshop on "Sustainable Production Towards Green Growth" (DXCenter, 2024) The workshop is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of Quang Trung Software Company This workshop also revolves around the issue of green production and reducing emissions into the environment The workshop showed Vietnam's process for

Trang 13

implementing, through Vietnam's participation in international conventions on global pollution control, climate change, environmental protection Furthermore, the Vietnamese Government has completed the process of the legal corridor to management and policies for the Green Transition The decisions and circulars were made towards the same goal of the workshop in Binh Duong: Vietnam Net to Zero Carbon by 2050 and the economic trend of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

In the world, particularly in China, China’s Electric Motor (EM) Upgrading Project: According to Zhou et al (2015), in 2013, China launched a project on energy saving through upgrading electric motors (2013-2015), with the aim of creating favorable conditions for the development, application and dissemination of highly efficient EM, to promote industry upgrading and improve energy efficiency levels to help create a transition towards sustainable development The central government sets a national target that by 2015, 50% of low-voltage induction motor products and 40% of high-voltage motor products must be upgraded It is expected that 80 billion kWh of electricity output can be saved annually, accounting for about 7.3% of annual energy consumption in China During the testing process, China chose to upgrade the injection molding machine The injection molding stage is an energy-intensive stage in the production of plastic materials Injection molding machines can be upgraded using energy-saving servo motors, which can reduce energy consumption by about 30%-80% There are about one million injection molding machines in different types of industries in China, mainly distributed across Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces Dongguan City and Foshan City have been selected as two pilot demonstration sites in China for this ten thousand spray model machine upgrade demonstration project, both of which need to complete 50 million kW upgrades motor machines in 2015 In particular, Dongguan City has implemented practical plans to upgrade 10,000 EM systems in injection molding machines from 2013 to 2017, with 1000, 2500, 2500, 2000 and 2000 machines upgraded (or replaced) accordingly every year As a result, each year after the project ends, 0.5 billion kWh of electricity were saved.

Additionally, China had started using the Green Manufacturing Process Planning Support System (GMPPSS):

According to He et al (2007),GMPPSS differs from the popular computer-aided process planning (CAPP) process, which supports process planning The goal of GMPPSS is to optimize raw material consumption, secondary material consumption, energy consumption and environmental impact of process planning with the support of a green process database ,
